The Southern Tour, The ultimate Playday tour

4 race tracks in 1 week and all in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand.

The tour is held every 2 years and 90% of entrants are return customers that just must do it again,

we even have people that have completed every Southern tour with us. Playday have been hosting

the Southern Tour for 9 years and it just gets better and better each year

The first track day starts in

Invercargill Tereatonga race track and then moves on to the awesome Highlands race track, NZs most elite race track.

 

Then on to Timaru’s Levels race track and finally Christchurch’s iconic Raupuna race track, all the tracks are amazing and being out there with a good bunch of mates makes for a life experience that will never be forgotten.

The Tour itself takes one week but we also have the

optional extra week where we tour down the amazing West Coast of the South Island and take in the sights on the way, we cover all the best roads and take in the sightseeing at the Glaciers, Milford

Sounds, Queenstown, The Pancake Rocks and many mountain passes and scenic ocean side roads will take your breath away at every corner.

The West coast tour is not a convoy but more of a “we will see you on the road” and this allows you to decide what you would like to spend more time

doing but each night we all seem to end up at the same restaurant in the same town all staying at

the same motel. We have a brief itinerary for the West Coast Tour and this is optional at every

corner but in the past the West Coast Tour has been a huge part in making the best life long

memories of the Ultimate Track day Tour.

One group of international entrants was so blown away

with the roads and views said they just wanted to turn around and do the West Coast again and that

they had already far exceeded their expectations and that was prior to the first track day, “how do

we book in for the next Southern Tour” was their parting words.

The tracks are amazing, but the tour is so much more than just the track, each night after each track

day we do a big dinner where we come together as a big family and gas bag about all things

important in life and may even have a beer or two. The comradery on the tour is outstanding.

The Southern Tour in the past has sold out overnight, completely sold out in less then 12 hours.

Playday will advertise a new bank account and only payments to this account will secure your spot

on the Southern Tour. There is no pre booking of a spot sorry people, first in first served.

Playday will advertise 3 weeks prior that we will be open for bookings on this date (date yet to be

set) and it will be a Monday night at 7PM (NZ time). The Southern Tour will open for bookings and it

is first in first served basis. This is the only way of making a booking, once the event is full it is full as

we run limited numbers on track and this will not be exceeded.
